The leader of the New Orleans Saints “Dome Patrol”, Rickey Jackson, has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Rickey was selected to six Pro Bowls and recorded 136 sacks in his career. Jackson went to San Francisco near the end of his career and got a Super Bowl ring. He also was elected to the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame and has his number in the rafters of the Superdome. He will be the first Saints player to elected to the Hall of Fame. Ironic, because the Saints may win their first Super Bowl against the son of Archie Manning that played with Rickey in the 80’s.
Congratulations Rickey!
