Giants quarterback Eli Manning played just the first half of Saturday’s preseason game against the Jets. With Hakeem Nicks out, Manning targeted Victor Cruz eight times, connecting with him five times for 51 yards. He led the Giants to a pair of field goals in his first two series but struggled a bit afterwards as he threw an interception and only managed to complete 50 percent of his passes on the night. Manning completed 7 of 14 passes for 62 yards, finishing with a 32.4 quarterback rating.
