The Green Bay Packers playing in a different uniform?

That wouldn't happen unless, say, Brett Favre would don a Minnesota Vikings uniform.

Well, consider it done. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Packers will mix it up this year and wear an alternate third jersey “for at least one home game,” according to a team official. Say it ain't so.

Childress told Favre the organization will put no pressure on him to make a quick decision regarding his future. "He brought it up to me - 'When are you guys going to need to know?'" Childress said. Wednesday will mark one month since the Minnesota Vikings lost the NFC Championship Game in overtime to New Orleans. In that time, quarterback Brett Favre has been predictably silent, not offering any hints as to when he will decide on returning for another year in purple.

While the Vikings aren't about to put any public pressure on Favre, it makes sense that at least some teammates would like this drama to end.

After all, they watched (or experienced) this phenomenon when it happened in Green Bay a few times. Surely, many of them recognize it might not be that much fun.
