Report: Derrius Guice likely to miss time with new knee trouble – Yardbarker

Derrius Guice worked himself back from a torn ACL, but now there’s some foreboding news on the state of his other knee. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Washington Redskins running back is having an MRI on the knee he did not injure. Guice is expected to miss time with the unspecified injury, though the team hopes he can avoid surgery. Guice is turning into a player who simply can’t stay healthy. If he does need surgery, that would mean he’s had procedures on both of his knees in the first two years of his NFL career. That’s a very worrisome thing for a running back, even a 22-year-old one. On the other hand, Guice missing time could open the door for Adrian Peterson, who didn’t appear to have much of a role 24 hours ago.
