MRI reveals no major damage in Le’Veon Bell’s shoulder – Yardbarker

Just hours after losing starting quarterback Sam Darnold indefinitely due to mononucleosis, the New York Jets can now at least breathe a sigh of relief following MRI results on running back Le’Veon Bell’s shoulder. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, test results indicated there is no major damage or tears in Bell’s shoulder. The Jets sent Bell for tests on his shoulder after holding him out of practice on Thursday. Fortunately for Gang Green, the precautionary tests delivered positive news. Bell worked as the Jets’ workhorse back in their Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills. If Bell is cleared to play on Monday, he could be asked to take on an even larger workload with Darnold sidelined.
