Seahawks claim Josh Gordon off waivers – Yardbarker

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon off waivers following his release off injured reserve by the New England Patriots. The first hint of this move came by way of his agent, who tweeted a very excited message Friday afternoon. Shortly afterward, Josina Anderson of ESPN shared that Gordon had been claimed off waivers but that the team claiming him was waiting to announce it due to another roster move, which had not yet been made. Not long after that, Ian Rapoport announced that Gordon had been claimed by the Seahawks. Gordon is healthy and passed his physical in New England before being released. He’s one of the league’s most talented receivers and has never failed to produce when on the field. Playing in 58 career games, Gordon has caught 240 passes for 4,113 yards and 20 touchdowns.
